Lab Pro — browser-based laboratory report software

Lab Pro is a laboratory report desk that needs no installation: it runs in the browser you already have. Enter your patients and the doctors who refer them, choose from the 129 tests and 62 profiles that come bundled, and the app lays the report out on the letterhead your laboratory prints on. The PDF carries a digital signature, the lab name can take a tag line under it, and patient IDs and report numbers follow your own numbering. Print it, save it as a PDF, or pass it to WhatsApp.

  • Patient and doctor records — registers you can search, a unique ID for every patient, plus age, sex and the referring doctor.
  • Test library — 129 tests and 62 profiles across eight categories, each with its unit, method and reference range; picking a profile adds its tests for you.
  • Your own stationery — lab name, tag line, address and owner line come from the laboratory profile, so what prints matches the sheets you already use.
  • Print and PDF — A4 with a punch-hole margin; on paper the head of the sheet is left blank for your pre-printed letterhead, while the PDF draws the full head.
  • WhatsApp — one press hands the report over: with the free Lab Pro helper installed on that PC the patient's chat opens with the report on the clipboard (press CTRL + V, then Send); without it, WhatsApp's own share sheet takes the file.
  • Backup — patients, tests, profiles and reports kept in one file you can copy off the machine.
